Gotye is back with his new single “Eyes Wide Open”
The very talented Australian singer Gotye is finally back with a new single and video called “Eyes Wide Open”. Gotye, who´s real name is Wouter de Backer, was born in Bruges, but raised in Australia where he is still living.
After 2 studio albums and 1 remix album, it`s great to hear new stuff from him. His last studio album “Like Drawing Blood” was an excellent piece of contemporary pop music and Gotye is playing lots of instruments himself. He is often performing alone on stage, jumping from drums to guitar, keyboard and back.
“Eyes Wide Open” is the first single from his new album, scheduled to be released in 2011. Here is the video for the new single:
Gotye will tour Australia in February 2011 and will hopefully come back to tour in Europe soon.
